2024 British Youth Championships

Like last year, there will be no regional Guernsey qualifying competition for the British Youth Championships (BYCs) this year. The BYCs will be held at EIS Sheffield, Coleridge Road, Sheffield, S9 5DA. Should you wish to participate at the BYCs, please register your interest by reply with your full name, date of birth, age group (U12, U14, U16, U18), weapon and BF number by 5pm on Thursday 22 March. The competition is self-funded and the entry fee is £60, which includes the standard entry fee of £50 and a £10 qualification fee. The competition schedule is in the table below. Fencers will represent Guernsey and as such will need to be affiliated to Guernsey. Fencers may enter for one weapon only. If you are in possession of a Guernsey tracksuit, then this may be worn. Please note, by competing for Guernsey, irrespective of applying or qualifying through a ranking position, the Fencer acknowledges and agrees to comply with relevant Codes of Conduct of both the GUE and of British Fencing, which for ease of familiarisation is available on the GUE website.
